German Tourist Cannibalized by Natives in Nuku Hiva
German Tourist Stefan Ramin may have met an unfortunate fate as food for the local cannibals on Nuku Hiva island in French Polynesia. Ramin was having the time of his life with Heike Dorsch in the beautiful jungle island. The Hamburg resident was last seen with Henri Haiti, his tour guide, on a hunt. Haiti returned alone and told Dorsch that Ramin was injured, but immediately tied her up. She managed to escape and alert the authorities. Later burned human remains were found near a camp fire.
Mr. Haiti is the prime suspect. He has a tattoo on his should that symbolizes the Kaioi tribe, a defunct group of people who ate human meat.
