Fearing a massive backlash from the public, author Thomas Hoepker refrained from publishing an apparently insensitive photo taken on the day of the September 11th attack. Even though it's not appropriate for the public, the photo has become one of the most memorable moments captured. Some say it could be interpreted two ways: one is highlighting general public apathy; another is the resilience of the Americans after a huge tragedy.
