Occupy French Nuclear Plant: Greenpeace Terrorists


Exploiting loopholes in security, rabid Greenpeace activists covertly raided a nuclear power plant operated by Electricite de France (EDF) in Nogent-sur-Seine, France and hung a banner with a taunting message on the wall of a reactor containment structure. Police hunted down the environmental vigilantes in a long game of hide-and-seek. Despite the promises of the French government to improve the safety and security of their nuclear power plants after the Fukushima Daiichi power plant disaster, this act only exposed how much more work they still had to do. After the incident, Claude Gueant, the interior minister, ordered a thorough check for similar antics in other power plants.
